Biography
Toya is an Argentine freelance photojournalist based in Mexico City. She previously lived in Washington DC for four years, and has work published in The New York Times, The Washington Post, Reuters, Getty Images, Bloomberg, AFP, NPR, US News and World Report, among others. She has also done freelance editing for the AFP photo desk. She covers migration, humanitarian and women's issues around Central America. She speaks Spanish, English and French.
